Joss West 5/16x14 JP

I just bought a 1991 Joss West. It has a modified Acme 5/16x14 joint (so i was told that what it is). Does anyone know where i can find joint protectors for it, or know someone that can make them?

If it's just protecting the joint your interested in. Use regular joint protectors for the shafts and get someone to make a delrin joint protector for the Butt.
If your looking for Custom,
Disreguard
I only know 2 people with the joint screws. Pretty sure they won't give one up for joint protectors

in decades of playing and travels i have never heard of anyone who had their joints in any way damaged while in their cases and even when not.

personally in my mind they are a waste of money and time messing with them.
I always liked the ritual of dealing with them. Like a preplay routine. Nuther thing just now occurs to me; the exposed screw. It subliminally suggests, "incomplete".

Agree the removing and stowing of the JP's is now part of my pre-league ritual.

More importantly, they are beautiful little hats for my cues. Why would you deny your cues, pretty hats....

Common wisdom is that the protector case case protecting case is sufficient; offering global case and joint protector protection.
