Posting for a friend..

I have shaft in my possession and here are specifications :

Stitched collar
Joint size .835
Joint pin insert ...5/16×14
Shaft diameter...13mm at base of ferrule and 12.75 at tip
Ferrule material..Micarta
Length..28-7/8 (approx)
Tip ...Le pro medium

It is clean , smooth and straight !

Condition ...very good used

Price is should have been $325 not $375 when posted.
My mistake...

Price includes priority shipping and insurance within the states.

Do you know if it will fit Joss West 5/16x14 ACME pin?
 
I am not sure ?
My friend who owns the shaft had it as a backup on his S series Schon.

If it fits a schon it may not fit another cue with the same pin, Schon uses a different thread pitch than any other 5/16-14 pin

you seem to have an affinity for posting things that you don't know much about in people's for sale threads where ironically you've never bought or sold anything.

I know this shaft is already sold but ftr, I've had schon shafts that fit my TS and JMW 5/16 14 cues just fine. You also recently came onto my Gus fs thread commenting that the pilots on the 6 shafts didn't look like Gus's work that you've seen. The shafts are 3/8 10 and don't have pilots for crying out loud.

Stop crapping in other peoples fs threads.

I know a little bit i'm not new , i have bought and sold quite a few things here . My comments are not directed as malice or any intent to affect anyone's sales. I'm a potential buyer/seller here i share what i know and ask about what i don't

Fair enough slim but you have to be mindful that many who come on here to sell are serious about it and any commentary in their sales threads that can be construed as negative, *especially* if not accurate would be unwelcome.

As I said with respect to this and my Gus fs threads, your assessments were incorrect and put a negative spin on them, undeservedly.

I can't force anyone's hand to leave feedback, i have nothing to prove. If someone has something for sale i have the same right as you to ask questions
 
I see now we are changing the rules, it's called freedom of speech. So what you are saying is that everyone that has questions should not post them for others to see, yet only ask questions by pm. If this is indeed what the admin here suggests, then i'm sure my attorney would not agree.

Actually, you haven't been asking any questions. What you have been doing is coming on FS threads and making comments that are not accurate about what's being offered for sale which could have a chilling effect on potential buyers.

You said on my thread that the pilots on the shafts were not like any you've seen from Gus but the cue is a 3/8 10 pin which have no pilots. The inference of what you said casts doubt as to authenticity which is a negative, right? Regardless of the fact that I painstakingly described every aspect of that cue and its shafts, you come on and make your daft shit comment. And the cherry on top is I'm gonna go way out on a limb and guess you were never in danger of buying that $26k cue, right? Further, before I ever posted anything in this thread I pm'd you and asked very nicely if you'd be kind enough to come back on my Gus thread to acknowledge your error since I preferred not to have the first response there to be your negative one but you chose not to address your error or even respond back to me.

In this thread you asked no question either; but rather you warned people that if the fellow who owned this Josswest shaft had it as a backup for his Schon, that people should be concerned because Schon uses a special thread pitch that may not be interchangeable with other brands. Here's why that's a bullshit comment: The shaft that was for sale was a Josswest not a Schon AND as I pointed out, I've had Schon shafts that have worked just fine on my TS and JMW cues.

What exactly is the purpose of your posts? Are you trying to do public service announcements?

Also, are you really serious about engaging an attorney to assist you with your freedom of speech being stifled on an internet forum?

Instead of that why not just try to be a better member of the azb community? If you're really not sure about something then don't comment like you do.

Just be considerate of others.

In the day of text and type communication, a lot is lost in that, so there are quite a few misperceptions,. Is he /she making a statement or asking a question, maybe it's a tag question.?
I've been in this community for several years and don't intend to let you bully me today or tomorrow, just be honest and upfront about what you are selling and everyone here will get along just fine.
