In the late '70's I had the opportunity to buy an ebony box cue from Bill Stroud, in person, for $400. FOUR HUNDRED FREAKIN' DOLLARS!!

Big mistake. HUGE!

That cue back then was about $700. A lot of money, then. Joss West cues cost more than most other top builders. Certainly more
than Schon. Many early Schons were copies of Bill's cues, at much less cost.
