Did he make ivory piloted joints? Yes.

G,

In the lt 80's/early 90's his piloted iv joints were sleeved around a fiber type material, early cue(s?) were, iirc, a traditional piloted iv (ala Szam).

Best to you and P, a

Thanks A, the sleeved over fiber. Patty and I miss you and R.

Bill definitely built cues with cues with piloted ivory joints...........I had 2-3 myself.

I sold a great JossWest with a piloted ivory joint to Ray Feliciano on the Forum a few years ago.
The cue played really well and I just decided to convert my cue collection to flat faced ivory versions.
Otherwsie I'd still own that cue. It's the same reason I sold my Mottey cue that also used piloted ivory.
