JP Cue ?

So a friend of mine got a cue from old guys passing and it has a JP on it is that a J. Pechauer? If so what's it around about worth he said I could have it cheap since he don't play pool its a 6 or 8 point cue with some inlays on the bottom of the but also I know its hard too say with no pics jw what u all think thanks
 
I think the more valuable cues have his signature on the forearm as opposed to just the JP on the butt cap.

Cue Fix is correct. The JP series have the logo on the buttcap. The Pro Series and some other modes are signed. JP series are a little less expensive, but still nice cues. The retail on a cue like you are describing is probably $300-$450.

Joe Porper also used a JP logo - looks very similar to Jerry's.
