Is Jr. Harris still active in the world of pool?

I met him quite a few years ago and watched him play some one-pocket against the owner of the Sports Palace in New Orleans. A very nice fellow, and an excellent pool player. Hope he is doing well, wherever he is.

Don't know if he is or not Ed but which owner? Earl, Blackie, Lambert, Jimmy, Dottie, et al?

Jr. Harris used to live in the Delaware area and was one of the top players in the area. However, I have not seen him in several years on the tournament trail or on the road.

He was playing Earl. I don't recall how they were playing or the outcome as I didn't stick around for the finish.

Last I saw him was in May 2000 at the BCA tournament. He moved from Delaware to Texas around that time.

Jr Harris

Last time he was seen or heard was at the BCA Pro 9-Ball event, 99 or 2000, I saw him beat Busty, first round, 11-4 or 3, JR played a 970 + Accu- stat on him and as you may know the best time to play Busty is Early in a tourney. He was a long time resident in Colorado Springs, so I have kept tabs on him (tourney wise) and he has not surfaced at all. He broke up with his long time girl, Cheryl and then met another gal and moved to TX, I think the Dallas area. He had a couple bad car accidents that gave him enough $$$ to keep him out there for quite a few years. With that gone, probably as of 2000 or 01 at the latest he hasn't been listed on any tourney finishes since those years. I assume the road etc. finally got to him and he decided to settle down with his gal and live a normal life. I am happy for him, its been a long time coming, I would of thought Medina would of done that by now, the younger players are passing him up too. I wish I could remember the gals name from TX, big gal, short blonde hair somewhat heavy set, nice person, good league player, probably met in the PH.
Later,
BF in CO

Medina is from Co? I didn't know that. Are there alot of nice places to play in Co, around Denver?

JR. Harris whereabouts

Jr Harris was living in Ft worth Texas with Melanie Koger. She was a champion in her own right. Won top honors on the women's hunter tour. But she got real sick haven't heard or seen either name in a while.
