not great from shaw, but also if I'm fedor I'm not conceding. he was there earlier in the match when jay missed a fairly routine nine ball, why give him the last three?
I'm sure he felt horrible about missing that seven ball, but I like to see him, and all players be competitive until it's over. and I think it's better for the game.

To celebrate a win like that after your opponent hands you an unexpected gift shows absolutely no class, but that’s who he is and has always been. Under those circumstances, quietly go and shake your opponent’s hand and know that you just dodged a bullet.

I was surprised & actually disappointed at the concession, make 'em win. Yeah, it looks like an easy run but as mentioned, closing out a match with the $$ on the line is a a different story. You don't see many golfers concede a 6" putt with a major on the line.

I agree- you never know. Even the top players can get out of line or dog an easy shot.

I don't blame him though- sometimes you're just dejected, angry or frustrated and want it to be over.

Fedor is the best player on the planet and he's setting the standard all others are chasing imo. For Shaw not celebrate at least a little would have insulting.

Also keep in mind the Mosconi drama with these two is building. Jayson plays the heel to perfection, and he knows what keeps him in MR's favour.

Shaw is a great player, the final was amazing.
He does play with a lot of emotion sometimes, which can be good and bad. But it is entertaining if you choose not to be judgmental.

i look at what goes on inside the four rails, not so much the personal qualities. earl is probably my favorite 9-ball player all time. mika in his prime was also entertaining and jayson is the same
