Yeah, I didnt watch all of the available matches but I saw many of them, that 5 second warning was by far much louder than all of the other warnings. In fact in the last couple of matches I was listening for it and if it was noticeable it was barely perceivable.
It also seemed like many players were getting frazzled by the shot clock for some reason, it was a normal MR shot time, wasn't it? How does the shot clock work anyhow? Does it stop running once the player addresses the ball or does it continue to run until the player hits the cue ball? I would hate to say it but on the tighter pockets it almost seems like they could use a little more time, maybe 35 or even 40 seconds. It seems like a lot of times when a player takes an extension they shoot 5-10 seconds into the extension.
