The OB Cues Ladies 9-Ball Tour (previously the Hunter Classics Amateur Women's Tour) will be having their 4th tournament of 2008 the weekend of July 26-27 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Magoo's Billiards! It's the first time we will be hosting a State Championship! State championships are qualifiers for the US Open and we are proud to announce that this event will be a qualifier for the 2009 US Open!

BTW - the 2008 US Open is the very next week (July 30-Aug 3) in Norman, OK at the Riverwind Casino.

The OB Cues Ladies 9-Ball Tour is the largest, longest-running Women's Regional Tour in the Country. We are nationally recognized for our low entry fees, 2nd chance tournaments, and 100% pay-back with a third to a half the field paid every time.

First Round: Right After Player's Meeting.
Second Chance Event Sunday 9:00 am.

Membership Fee: $20
Tournament Entry Fee (includes $5 administrative fee): $30*
*Bring a new Member and Receive $5 off your Entry Fee!
Also, a drawing will be held during the player's meeting to see who gets their entry fee FREE!

Only $20 to be eligible for the WPBA Qualifier (optional).

Magoo's is a nice room, too bad I moved so far away from Tulsa, I'd love to come watch.

I can't wait to be in Tulsa-town for this tournament. Magoo's is one of our best host sites ever. The McDermotts have such an awesome place, actually awesome billiard/pool halls altogether. They put together the best atmosphere, equipment, food, for the pool player and are real pool afficionados'

Even though pros are allowed to play in this event, I hope that I draw one so I can take some good notes. Come on out you pros....I ain't skeered...:eek:

Since this event will be a few days before the U.S. Open event in Norman, Oklahoma I hope we get a big draw.

I love the starting time at 9:00am, the earlier the better.....bring it on ladies....come and get you some mandersotx......:thumbup:

Tournament starts tomorrow morning! For this in town this evening, there is a group going to the Japanese Steak House down the street from Magoo's for dinner. Everyone is welcome.

I believe Magoo's had wi-fi last time, so I will try and post updates if we don't get to put the brackets online.

Looking forward to being at Magoo's and the casinos this weekend. Nothing better than playing pool and hittin' it big at the casinos.

Won't make the Japanese restaurant gathering tonight.....what I would spend on food at the hibachi place, I can blow on some slot machines.....I am a bad, bad girl !!! :grin-devilish:

We will hopefully get the action with John Schmidt and Jason Kirkwood shown on the screens at Magoo's as well.
