This is NOT an open event. You may play if you have not had a 5-6th or better finish in any major tournament. ie Fast Eddies 9Ball Tour, Midwest 9 Ball Tour, Joss Northeast Tour etc….

We have a council to determine eligibility for players that do not play in tournaments or may have had a 5-6th or better finish with extenuating circumstances.

Please call to see if you qualify. To “GET ON THE LIST” you must call when you are leaving your area or mail your entry FEE in early. You must be present at 11:00am PAID OR NOT or any “stand-by” players will be awarded your spot. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you pay ahead and can’t make it by 11:00am and you lose your place to a stand by, you WILL get a full refund.

To pull this off in 1 day we must start ON time.

There will be NO more seeding. All draws will be random!

This event is open to ALL women that are NOT ranked in the top 26 of the WPBA! Heather Lloyd placed 4th last month! Hope to see you gals out here to give the guys a run for their money.

9 ball really isn't my preference but what the heck right?

I haven't played in any big tournaments just your little 5 or 10 dollar bar tourneys. Noticed there is a committee that grants permission into the tournament.

Ray you are part of that right?

It's double elim. Race to 7 on the winner's side and 5 on the loser's side. The payouts have varied but you can look them up here in Ray's previous posts under his results thread.
You also asked about the council. There is one in place but Ray has kept the members of the council anonymous. There is one member that came out and said he was apart of it on here. Again, it's in Ray's previous posts and you can easily find it.
This is really a good event that Ray puts on and you can't afford to miss out on this any longer. If you do go, be sure to say hi to a fellow AZB'er.

While I am the final word in this event, I am not part of "The Council". I have a great respect for all of the council members and have never gone against their decision.

The members of "The Council" are over-qualified for this event and know most of you. They have helped tremendously to keep this event honest. This tournament is a chance for "mid-level" players to feel the heat of the money matches. I have seen more than one player have success in Waco, and then have their best finish ever in an open event like the Fast Eddies 9 Ball Tour or the Sharkey's 9 Ball event in Alexandria,La.

Hope you can make it. We will definitely have a good time!

Thanks Juan! Juan has the details correct. He also makes mention of reading other previous posts. This is a great tool here on the forum that I did not find right away. Simply "left click" on any members name and scroll down to "find more posts by". Click that and you can see all post by them. It really gives you a feel of who your sharing this site with.
