Coos Cues
Is it just me or would other juma users like to see some solid rod in colors other than black and ivory?

Sent them a message inquiring if there is any chance they would make some earth tone rod for us cue builders.

Atlas is the only reseller of Juma in America and that's ok if they have it I for one would buy from them.

Seems like they are all into the weird scaly stuff for god only knows whom in flamboyant colors not found in nature.

They are out on Holiday and hoping to get a serious answer from them in sept. I feel like our industry would buy the hell out of some brown tone rod if they would make it.

I have looked through the spectrums of brown and narrowed my personal choices to the following dozen. If you could have any three which ones would you like?

I posed that question in the very first sentence of this thread. That's my perception but I am clearly looking for what others think. What do you think? And why?
Sadly,we are small fish.
Knife handles come in different colors in burlap micarta, G-10 or phenolic variety.
They don't bother making them in tubes.

So what about Tomahawk? The cue building industry is dying for some earth tones. There simply is nothing to choose from worth choosing.
I have had only one request for a different tomahawk color. I don’t recall the specific color, but I don’t think it was an earth color. Other colors are a possibility but I don’t know the pricing, sizing, or quantity I would have to order. A big risk to invest and sit on inventory. And I’m not convinced the colors available would translate nicely in a cue. The brown phenolics work well enough because of the grain and variegated look. Once you start including other colors that have no variegation they can look very artificial/fake in a cue. You don’t often see the even brown paper micarta type materials because of this. A wooden joint collar made of purpleheart or yellowheart might look cool. A purple or yellow plastic joint collar not so much.

Do you have a source for the even brown paper micarta type material to have a look? I agree about the artificial look of bright colors. I don't even like plastic rings in bright colors unless you are intentionally wanting that look. I have some nice variegated brown phenolic but am getting tired of looking at it. Plus it's a little lighter than I would like. Just putting out feelers to see how other people feel. Thank you for your thoughts.

Other than google, no.
