What's the best metal to use?
I once saw a galvanized one in use.
I once saw a galvanized one in use.
I'm cutting down a wooden one I got for next to nothing.Bill,
What is it your are trying to do?
What do you have now?
Are you wanting to just get a new shaft for an existing jump butt?
Would it be possible to just get a new jump cue to satisfy your needs?
Heavy metal. Yes.I'm cutting down a wooden one I got for next to nothing.
The Shaft is 13mm, I'm taking it down to 11 mm with a 7'' area of taper.
If the existing ferrule is not adequate after cut down....I want to try a heavy metal.
I've seen a galvanized jump rod yrs ago, that was illegal and worked too good.
1'' is the max length of a metal ferrule.
If it doesn't work then plan B.
That's why I was looking for a shaft only.
JIC the cut down doesn't play out.
I doubt anyone has em, but can't hurt to ask.
Not in the mood yet to spend hundreds for a jumper.
Thx for askin'.
