Jump cue recommendation

I use a J&J J/B and I can jump very easily with it.
I agree the j/j b/j is great stick esp for the money. I have noticed guys using the predator air aim alot higher on the cue ball to get it to jump good. I also heard that the "poision" b/j works well and is relatively inexspensive....

jump cue

cuetec has two jump cues that are next to the best of any type of cue that is on the market today thanks:)

my choice

This is my opinion. There is only one jump cue, RAT.

I got one about 3 years ago and it WAS the best i've ever tried. I've played with them all, Predator, Stealth, JJ, Lacosi, .

I must say i liked the 3 piece jump theory so much that i called Ryan RAT cues and had him build me a one of a kind 3 piece jump cue and it is without a doubt the best jump cue i've ever used. I love it when i'm at the pool room or at the bar for league night and people start talking about their jump cues. I pull mine out of the bad and let everyone try it, all agree, the best.

BUT, you pay for what you get. The jumper wasn't cheap. But i got the cash and i knew Ryan would build me a jumpn beast.

Thanks Ryan!

How is that compared to Jacoby jump cue or Jerico Stinger J/B (wih jump butt only) ??

As a few others have already stated ......... Jacoby. It's design/weight makes jumping much easier and with ease comes accuracy. Try one .......... even if you have to find one that someone else has just to test drive it.

Jumper

Jump cues are funny sticks, too heavy or wrong tip, and you can not get over a ball, too light, and you can't control the cueball.

I use a J & J break/jump stick and am pretty happy with it. I have tried several others, including the super light ones, but always had control problems with them.

Most jump cues will work, it's just a matter of getting used to them. Some are definitely easier to use than others. Having said that, in regular games, I've had no problems using the jump portion of either the Stinger or X-breaker j/b's. I've never had to pull out a dedicated jump cue, but I usually carry around a Scorpion jump cue with a Chilton tip or a Chilton Flying Eagle. I'm not a big fan of the Jacoby or Predator. The Stealth jump cue is very good though and so is the original Lucasi.
