Jump/Break Cue Tip Shape

It’s due to hitting the CB off center and downward, causing masse spin.Sorry to reply to a old thread, i found that recently when doing jump shots, the cueball landed and swerve to the sides and missing the object ball entirely.
Is this due to the tip too rounded or my stance is incorrectly aligned.
Not by much. Best to work on a straight, accurate stroke.Thanks. Jumping balls is one part of pool that i like the least. I tried to line up straight but for some reason i keep getting these unwanted off center hits.
Does flattening the tip reduces this swerving masse effect?
