Hello all and Merry New Year!!!

I am pretty old school and not the best jumper due to my being vertically challenged and lack of experience. I've had a pretty run of the mill jump/break for a while but it's time for an upgrade. I'm thinking about getting an Air Hog, Jacoby,or Pechauer jump cue. They are all less than 150 and have decent reviews. I am curious if anybody can sway my decision one way or another. Thanx in advance for any suggestions.

Of those three, the Jacoby is what I'd take. I don't like the weight balance of Pechauer for jumping. No experience with the Air Hog. But the OB Lift is also in that same price range and has good reviews too. Not so sure about the Predator Air2.

OB LIFT Pro

I've tried just about every jump cue out there, the OB LIFT Pro is the best for me. Spend the extra 50. bucks and be done. Jumps easy with control to make balls too, not just get over one. Lomax was second best, for me.

I have a very nice jump/break (Gilbert) with Samsara tip and it jumps pretty good, but I also have a Jacoby and it just jumps so easy it's rediculous. I got the j/b with the intention of getting rid of the Jacoby but ended up keeping it because it makes really tight jumps doable that I just can't quite manage with the j/b. I haven't tried the others, but I can't imagine things getting much easier than the Jacoby. I really loved the tapered waist part for using the dart technique, really nice.

I think the Jacoby is the best jump cue out there by quite a mile. I've tried all the popular ones and many many custom ones. Nothing seemed easier for me to jump with while maintaining control of the shot and the cueball.

I have a Lucasi. Jumps good enough for me. Plus I like the Veneer look.
I do wish it had a smaller tip. More in the 12.75 range.

I've got a nice custom you can try out for 60 shipped. Unknown maker but it does a nice job. I just don't need a second jump cue. Purple heart and maple with a G10 tip/ferrule

third thumbs up for the hanshew. had one for a few months now. ive had both pred air 2 and jacoby jumper and both are great jumpers I just find the hanshew to be a lil better

Nothing jumps like a Joe Bouska Diamondwood. Bought mine from Mike Massey, his jump cue of choice. If you try it you will buy it. It jumps like magic.
