Jump cues yes or no

If they allow jumping they should make shaft jumpping legal again being that most jump cues jump as good or not better than any shaft most people i no can jump with a jump cue but can't shaft jump at all. since they all have the phenalic tips on them. I can jump less then a chalk away from the ball with my jump cue and still draw the cue ball back 2 feet. :)
 
I would like to add ...

Shafts should not be added again because it would cause all sort of
'now illegal' jump cues to be manufactured and sold.

What do you do when you match up for a money game (in my case, it was
a big money game), and the player pulls out an 'illegal' jump stick (one that is shorter than 40" and the large tip exceeds the maximum tip size for jump sticks).

I played a 'machinist' that made his own jump stick, shorter than 40", and had a tip on it that was 20-25 mm, and he was good with it. It looked like a club!!
At the time I played him, I was giving him the 6 and the break, and he is
6'3" and 300 pounds. We played for 29 1/2 hours straight, and it turned out to be a costly lesson for me, because I wear hard contacts, and my eyes started to break down after 23-24 hours of wearing contacts.

Needless to say though, I told him I would not play him again unless he
used BCA and VNEA approved equipement.

its not that hard if you practice it........but doing it with just a chalk's width between the ball.........my bullshit radar is going off here.

ok. so you're saying that i can place the cue ball 1 CHALK behind the object ball, then place the object ball you're trying to hit 4 feet away and you're going to MAKE the ball AND DRAW YOUR CUE BACK 2 FEET????

i think everyone in this forum would bring money to see you prove that BULLSHIT.

Notice he said "The Ball" does he mean a foosball, a little rubber bouncey ball, a ball from one of those cheap executive pool table toys.

If its a regulation sized object ball and he's jumping from less than a chalk distance away, I seriously doubt he can make the clearance and draw back 2 feet.
And if you can do this, you might want to start touring the World with Mike Massey doing trick shots!
