I am gonig to buy my first jump cue and was wondering if there is any that makes jumping a bit easier. I have looked at a bunch and am lookng for a little guidence with this. thanks for your time and advise.

Best all a round jump cue by far, Predator Air. There may be other Cues on the market that are specialty models, for even shorter jumping abilities. But, the Predator Air covers shorts jumps and long jumps with ease.

You may want to look into the Jacoby jump sticks - best I've tried.
lomax hands down. just put my order in yesterday and will have it in a week and half - he just started a new batch. buy that one and you won't have to play around with anything else. i've been dyin' for one since i first tried one about six months ago. he is on here and i am pretty sure his sn is stevel.
I assume you're having problems getting the cueball airborne. Whoever makes it, I recommend that you get a multi-length jump cue, like the Stealth AT-1 for example which is a three piece $100 jump cue. They are much more versatile than a short jump cue.
The reason why the multi length is because long jumps are easier to aim with the longer cue. Short, high jumps are easier to get in the air with the short cue.
However, the Stealth comes with a hard leather tip. Leather tips are more difficult to get airborne with -you need better form - but they give better control. For ease of jumping, either a G-10 or phenolic tip is easier. They're much harder than leather.
So , the jump cue I usually recommend is a Stealth but changed out with a phenolic or G-10 tip.

I have played several jump sticks and had about equal results with each. I must say, I have not tried the Lomax but am wanting to pick one up per all the great reviews.
I have played the Predator Air, Mezz, Bunjee, a variety of J/B's, and tried a Jacoby. I could use any of them on a regular basis and be happy.

thanks for all the advise everyone, no I have to go to the hall and start seeing what people have and try to jump. I am just learning how to do it. can't be that hard though.
