Jump issues

I have a tony lane break jump and just had a new tip put on it, the samsara break jump, still has the phenolic ferrule but since getting it back i cant jump even a quarter, any idea what could of caused such a big change?

I would not put a leather tip on a dedicated jump cue. It's easier to jump with a phenolic tip. I have the Samsara tip on two break cues. Really great for breaking, not great for jumping.
