jump stick shafts?

I was wondering why predator and ob shafts are not used on jump sticks. Im having a short js being made now and was going over shaft options. Im thinking of mating the butt to a pred shaft that I dont use much. Heres my question, wouldnt any low deflection shaft be better for a jump stick than a thicker rock maple one? if not why!

I would imagine most LD shafts would warp to hell from constant jumping. Jumping is strenuous on a shaft which is why I think a hollow or low density shaft wouldnt be great.

LD shafts are light at the tip end. Jump shafts are heavy with the weight needed to cause the cue ball to jump.
You can jump with an ld shaft yet need an incredible amount of acceleration to do so.
Different designs for a reason.

Actually, due to their construction, most LD shafts would hold up much better.

And, jump shots don't put very much stress on a cue shaft anyway.

Absolutely correct!
LD shafts just don't typically jump very well.

Also, keep in mind that if you put a $235 shaft on a jump cue, the cost of that cue will be greatly increased. To the point where it most likely wouldn't sell very well.
