Jump sticks have changed the game

No one has mentioned the construction of the cloth itself. The higher the nylon content of the cloth, the more noticeable the burn marks are.

But there are trade offs. A 70/30 cloth, for example, will show white marks more easily then an 80/20. But the higher nylon content (and other factors such as weave and thread count) will usually give a faster roll and more durability.

The white burn marks are aesthetic. They really dont cause roll offs. Unless it's a spot that takes constant repeated pounding.... such as a well used break spot, or where the head ball of the rack sits. But it depends on the quality of the cloth. After more then a year, my Championship Worsted Ultra has lots of white marks. But it still plays EXCELLENT.

Isn't it funny how you are one of the incredibly few who think it does no damage to cloth.
Oh, and how you come into threads and just kill the vibe almost immediately.
Isn't it funny that this is one subject that I know more about than just about everyone here?

What was the vibe? Another argument about jump cues filled with false information from the no side.

Have you even seen someone competent jump? It doesn’t take much more “force” applied to the cue ball to jump a full ball, 10” in front of the cue ball, as it does to lag for break on a 9’ table...

To be clear here, nobody is talking about some drunk banging balls around in the local bar trying to impress his girlfriend...

Big head and mouth to match.
Sometimes in his posts I was like, can't believe he's attacking this person, or even still fighting with Lou.
