Hey there Shawn,

I read the portion of the recent BD and I've notticed that you were ranked as the best jump shot player in the bizznaz! (Congrats, by the way!) I am a very troubled player when it comes to jump shots. I heard that phenolic tips are the way to go. But then again, the controversey is that phenolics are cheats so leather tips are needed (in some competitions or leagues). If I would to use a jump cue, I would stick with leather just for safe keeping.

To get to the point: What would you suggest for a C-B player like myself to get just so that I could improve on my jumping alot more and what are your virtues on cue tips for jump cues?

If there gonna let you use Phenolic tips than use them till they outlaw them.
I recomend 2 shafts. One with Phenolic and one with leather. just to be safe.
Cheating is useing something illegal and getting caught !!!!!!!!!

That's some good advice there! I started jumping over one ball according to your advice on BD, so I'm stoked! Thanks once again there, Bubba! Keep hoppin' !

Hi Shawn! Speaking of jump shots, I surprised a fellow player by jumping using the mechanical bridge. The guy I was playing had never seen that before. I learned by seeing YOU do it during the mosconi cup. I would have never thought of it. Oh, I made it but the cue went off the rail and scratched in the side :-( lol. Take care

Try syacking two bridges and dart jumping when you just can't reach.
It's tough to aim but you have to practice.
