Winner receives sponsorship?

Not that familiar with APA... is there money also paid out to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place etc?

Sponsorship

The league operator for the APA is guaranteeing that 100% of the entry fees, AT A MINIMUM, will be paid out to THE WINNER OF THE TOURNAMENT.

The purpose of this, of course, is to assist a good player on to the Regional Qualifier and hopefully on to the National tournament.

If 20 players enter at $20 per, the winner will get $400 to help with food, hotels, etc at the Regional. If you win there, there is more money.

As a short answer, the POT pays out only to the winner of the tournament.

We will have an auction beforehand, though, so we'll pay a little deeper there.

I hopes this helps answer your question, and I hope it doesn't deter you from participating. This is not meant as a money tournament but an incentive to get more players from our area involved in the US Amateurs.

I hope to see you here on Saturday.

Rach 'em Zach 'em

Thanks for the plug, Zach. That Gilbert is slowly becoming my main cue, beating out my $2k Chudy and my $1k Josey. Thanks for delivering it!

Too many events here locally to get a 10 ball tournament going in June, but look for it in July!

Thank you!

Thanks... for answering my questions.
