Junior Goff

Many of you may not know who Lewis Alexander Goff, Jr (aka, Junior, Lefty, the Florida Kid) was, but Billiards Digest called him the consumate gambler. He is pool legend in the southeast, and can still beat most really good players in one-hole, even though he is in his mid 80s. You can read about Junior here:

Here is Junior

Here is the little man on the left with yours truly. Be honest with me..how many pool players do you think would have felt like giving this little old man the 7 or 8? They usually did just that before parting with their paycheck.

Junior once told me that the match was won or lost before the playing ever began. If he could give the guy the 8, he would start out wanting the 7.

Junior's 3 rules of gambling:
1. Get the money.
