I came home the other day to find my son (7) playing pool with a friend (6). The 6 year old was about to do some serious damage to my cloth, so I watched the kids as they finished their game and immediately went and ordered a 4-pack of the Junior Shark Guiding Wheel.

It helps my son reach the longer shots on our 9ft. table. And for kids who don't know how to play at all, it will save your cloth.

Does anyone know if this item has been sanctioned for VNEA or other competitive play?

Just thinking that in certain situations it might be a nice replacement for the rake.

that thing is good stuff. I got a friend that only has one arm, I been telling him to find some sort of bridge to use, this might to the trick...

When I get my paypal sorted out, I gotta grab a few of these. Thanks!

great idea! mind if i ask, what is the inner diameter of the slip on part? I know it can accomodate larger cues because of the slit in the middle, but what about skinnier cues?

The slip fit on a 13mm ferrule is very snug. Snug enough that the kids aren't able to take it off by themselves. One of the few problems I see is that the JSGW does get in the way (even when rotated 180 degrees up) for shots where the cue ball is next to the rail. The kids don't seem to notice.

I am sure there are all sorts of uses for this device. Contact Jill at juniorshark.com, she let me order via phone with my promise to send her a check.

Also, I do some occassional teaching and one adult student aims center ball and hits low. I am going to give the JSGW a try next time we meet.

inner diameter = 12.22 mm (measured w/ digital caliper)
