Hi guys. I originally posted here as 9eleven to sell off some cues because I was no longer playing and frankly didn't like them.Things have changed and after close to a 10 year break I'm starting to get back into the game. In matter of fact I'm wondering why I ever stopped! I truly enjoy the game.

I was asked to sub in a VNEA league and played decent enough for a guy who wasn't playing. I formerly played in a BCA league for a good number of years. Subbing I found out how much I missed playing. Unfortunately I only had one cue, a Jim Buss sneaky with a shaft taper I had a local work on and never got along with it. I should never have had him touch it. Josh Treadway is currently building 2 shafts for it and I picked up a Blackcreek sneaky which I'm currently playing with. I've also got another cue being built and hope it becomes my main player. Although I really like the Blackcreek. I do need a break cue as I've always have broken with the cue I play with and feel I probably shouldn't. I have a fairly strong break but old habits are hard to break. No pun intended!

Anyways you'll probably recognize some posts here and there from me along with some questions. Time to bring my game up to the next level.

Cheers!
Dean

Welcome back, Jazzbox. Not much has happened since you've been gone. I got sick, a few of our kin have had to go stand in the corner for awhile, and Side Pocket got a new Predator Revo cue.
Have a care with the league play. Lot's of unwanted calories there what with all the drinking, and such. :)

welcome back to the center of the pool universe, Dean.

the gravitational pull of pool is hard to escape.

Look forward to seeing you around the forums.

In 1979, I quit playing Pool & Snooker. In 1999, after retiring from BOEING in Seattle, I took up the game in a big way. I bought the books, the Videos & a very nice Pechauer (I retired my old Willie Hoppe cue on eBay). I've really enjoyed the ride. my & a friend won a State Championship in 2001.

If Pool or Golf or Music ever gets in your blood, it's a lifelong journey up the hills, down in the valleys, around the turns, the stops & the go's.

Welcome back JazzBox.... & Good Luck
