Went out to play some pool tonite and ran into local pro player George Michaels. He was nice enough to play some 9ball with me for awhile and I wanted to say thanks to him for his time (and experience to learn from). I've had a similar experience with the ridiculously talented Max Eberle and Billy Palmer as well. They were all gracious and shot lights out pool.
If any of you get a chance to play with a pro or have the opportunity to get lessons from one I highly recommend it. Access to years of their experiences can benefit your game and attitude tremendously. Just remember to always be respectful of the other person who has paid their dues too. They have earned it.
