Just got back from Turning Stone Joss Tournament.

Jam and Keith; Was great seeing both of you again and sweating some of Keiths matches. Hope he wins tonight again Kid Delicious. Keith already guaranteed 9/12 and $1100.00. Great going Keith. See you at the Golden Cue next Month.

Mike Howerton and Holly.. Mike, nice to see you again and Holly great seeing you again and good luck with your decision..

nostroke......always a pleasure my friend

Joe T......sweated your matches. to bad about the scratch on the hill (mentioned in Jam's thread)

Mike Webb....beautiful cues and was great talking with you again. see you at Mike's and the Golden Cue next month....

Saw some great matches. Left before the late matches started. but Mika looks to be almost ubeatable. Maybe only Dennis Hatch might give him a run on the winners side. Both hitting them real good. Watched Karen Corr and Jennifer Baretta's match. Both girls were shooting good. Both are now out but both cashed. was a real good turn out by both players and spectators alike.
The guys from the IPT were there doing interviews with players. KT ought to call Mike Zuglan and thank him as the Casino left the decision to let them up to Mike. And mike, bearing no ill will or axe to grind towards the IPT at all agreed to let them come. I had a great time and wish i could be there tomorow but unfortunately it is impossible to do.
No matching up on the tournament tables at Turning Stone. Don't know if anybody matched up and went elsewhere. Well time to hit the sack after a great day........................................mike

Been watching reports coming in from both the IPT event and Turning Stone tournement and both are well-attended, full of great players and seem to be making all attendees happy. Kinda makes a point about the so-called "irrelevance" of the smaller tours. As long as there are pool players, there will be plenty of room for the regional tours (as long as there are people like Mike Janis, the Romanos, Tommy Kennedy, et al, to hold them together and bring good pool to the "outskirts"). It ain't all about money. Ultimately, it always comes back to the main issue: playing pool and competing.

Turning Stone

Mike (Cueball1950)...it was so wonderful seeing you again after so many years. I am glad we had the opportunity to talk and catch up. Also thanks for the well wishes. Please I promise it will not be another 5 years and send me a line to let me know how you're doing. All my love and thoughts to you and your family.

On a side note...to everyone that I got a chance to see these past 4 days in Turning Stone, JAM (I will call you very soon sweet lady), Keith, Slivka, Joey K, Kid, Mike D, and to the new friends I met and made...it was wonderful seeing you all so much and hope to not let so much time pass between now and the next time we see one another.

Well...off I pack the next two weeks and to a new time zone in my life.

Much love,

H
