Just Curious has anyone tried the Blue Elf tips?

Was sold by Atlas but they are out. Says made from nubuck nap. Sounds like it would be a great tip. Has anyone tried these? If so, could you please give a review.

i tried one, it was OK. it was on the soft side and mushroomed a lot. i tried pressing one and that firmed it up and it didn't mushroom too much. though after pressing it was slightly on the thinner side. the best description i can give is that it was like a layered elkmaster.
