I know this isn't particularly impressive for many of you, but I have to announce it: I went play a minor league game tonight, and I beat a guy 40-0. He broke, I ran out. End of story :)

His face when I shot the last ball was priceless. Feels good...
 
nice goin, you should of kept going for a goof !!!! who knows where you may have stopped

Great Shooting Man keep up the good runs try and get something on video would love to see you shoot man.

I couldn't. We had arrived late already, I was the last of the team to finish playing, and the guys proceeded to pack up immediately after I ran the last ball.

That run surprised me. I was in top form yesterday (I also beat the same guy 5-0 at 9-ball an hour before, I guess it was a bad night for him :) ) and the equipment was perfect: the table was level, the cloth was clean, rolled good yet grabbed the ball great, the balls where new and squeaky clean, the pockets where fair, not too wide, not too tight, the rails didn't "eat" the angle, etc...

I guess the great equipment put me in the right mindset when I evaluated the table before playing. Crazy how good tables can affect one's game...

40 and out off the break is impressive.:thumbup: Well done! Sounds like you had the other guy's number that night.

And you're right about table conditions. When you know they're good, it's one less thing you have to concern yourself with.
 
It's always a good feeling to run out off the break - even though I've never done it. RonF and I sometimes play "sprints" to 50 just to see if one of us can 50-and-out the other. We've both come close, but have yet to do it.

It would have been nice to keep going just to see how far you would have got.
