Matching up, driving to tourneys only to find out bad news, No local action unless giving up the nuts, etc. , etc. I just am pooled out. Anyone else experience this? If so, do you take time off? Drive farther from home? Talk to me before I get on a belltower.
You're in a great area, but you've had too good of a name for too long around that side. I remember you enjoying a trip to Florida a couple of years ago ( maybe 4 now?) and someone asking if he recognized you from Atlanta....
I used to drive 300 miles just to get into new games, go to a tournament outside of my range.
What's a few hours in a car listening to music while you're checking things out along the way?
I retire all the time it seems like these days.
When my daughter was born this spring, i hardly touched a cue the rest of the year.
Lately I've been trying to get on the felt more.
I'm not getting rich from it, but I'm consistently coming out ahead, even if it's the weekly tourneys that I have to hit.
Can't afford to play the way I used to, so just taking it easy until things get right again.
Of course then I'll proabbly be coming to Raleigh looking for you somewhere.....lol
There's always Fayetteville and Charlotte....
Unless you've been knocking them down ,too....
Get off the tower..... Get ready for DCC....and all the rest of the East coast gatherings.
Soem3thing will come.
It always does
