I have listed my cue on Dale Perry Shamrock custom cue on E-bay, to see if somebody wants to buy it for what I am willing to sell it for. I know it won't go high here, but you never know with the BAY. Could find that Irish Born, Dale Perry Lovin' person with plenty of disposable income who just needs to have MY shamrock cue. Or anybody else with some disposable income who just wants the cue also. It is ebay Item number: 290134534857 . With almost 4 days left and the bidding not over $250, it looks as though it will stay in my case. Do not need the money, would just like to get a scruggs, white, or Mottey with cash in hand, so looking to sell this Special Dale Perry work. I got that "can't hold onto one cue for very long" addiction, and have specifics on what I want to try. I already know the value of a Perry cue is low, since ebay&etc., but this is a very special Dale Perry cue, that will not be repeated. Just wanted to share, and see what people thought. Hey, the worst I can do is just keep it and suffer having an extremely unique cue.

So what you're saying is that you're going to end the auction early unless you get the amount that you want?

I believe that cue will go a bit higher on ebay. Your logic is right about the value on AZ. However, it has a few days left, and I'm sure you have a bunch of watchers including myself.

I have a similar DP that seems to be laid out like yours, same ring work, points, mine has stars instead of shamrocks, 1/1 etc... I might be selling it soon, and if I fetch anything over $500 ( its worth way more) I'll be happy with it. My shafts arent in the condition yours are either.

Might be just the timing of the auction as well....

I have already had an offer for $900 locally, so if the bidding does not go to that level before the last 12 hours, consider it sold locally and removed from the bay. Tried to put a reserve and buy it now price, but both do not seem to show on the bay. Might just kill the auction all together, since I already have that local offer. Could get a cue I want for the $800, and no selling/paypal fees on top of it. Do not think it will get to that level on the bay.

Well, it is into the last 12 hours

Almost into the last 12 hours and its @ $630+ . I will let the auction run its course and sell the cue for highest bid. Just watch to see what that might be. Wish me luck.

Btw

I will be looking for a new cue in the range it sells for, so send me some offers. Looking for a White, Scruggs, Josey, or mottey. Can be a basic player, just want to try them out.

I'm in the same boat here, looking as well...some nice stuff out there on ebay too below $1000....

Well it sold??

Well, it sold today for $750, but the purchaser said he couldn't pay for 3 weeks, so I have now offered to the 2nd person for their highest bid at $740. Happy with the selling price, and have a few bills that just came up, so I need to sell and hope the second highest bidder comes forward. The local guy bowed out, and I need the money. Starting Friday my wisdom teeth were coming in on the top and pushing my other teeth, so here come the dentist bills. Can't shoot with a cue, if your mouth is burning up.
