Just want everyone to know

That today (i was reading a billiard digest when they came, ---to make this pool related). The vietnam vets came to my house and i donated a bunch of old clothes, a mattress, and a few small furniture items to them.

I also gave clothes to goodwill a few weeks ago and will again in a month or so.

I suggest you support vietnam vets, and goodwill by donating items to them. ;) ;) :)

I know i am not a "clique" member so i expect ot get flamed for this post but just wanted to encourage everyone do the same.

I am just trying to keep a low profile on here, even though i sold a car for $3000 dollars last week ( have you ever seen $$$$$3000 dollars before). After the guy gave me his last 3000 and had no other way to get his family home and had to wait until friday to get his check to feed them, I asked him to flip for the car and he said NO .

I them told him he had no gamble and was a NIT. Now i really got a line on him:eek: :eek: :eek:

Could you repost and make sense of the para. in red??????????? It's not clear what you're trying to convey.
 
What a nice gesture on your part. Did you also give blood to the Red Cross?

Here is what people fail to comprehend. There is a difference between placing a value on what you think is important or worthwhile for say $15 then being able to afford $15. Everyone is free to spend their money as they wish (as Jay pointed out - buy drugs if that is your choice). However, crying poverty over $15 is a joke.

Inever cried poverty and i said nothing about TAR. I do not think 15 dollars is a lot all things considered so dont lump me in with them.

This post is not about that!!!

You know if you ended the post where I put the line of X's, it wouldn't have been a bad post, though it probably belongs in NPR and borders on bragging about your goodness.
