Im happy for ya.. I used to win tournaments back in my home town..when i was younger..nothing was sweeter than going home to my dad and handing him the envelope that had "First Place" written on it. Now of course the money wasnt in the envelope..haha
Right now I am in hiding. People have been asking my friends where is Tony, why doesnt he come out to play anymore. My friends tell them its because he just had a new baby. Which is partly true. I have a new 4 month old baby girl. However the real reason is that I have been practicing every night for about two months now. I can start to see the payoff. The contact on the balls is starting to get bigger in my eyesight and im making more shots on a regular basis.
I have two hills to climb. The first is keeping my mental focus with every shot. I am the player who has that one ball miss that keeps him from running the rack, every time. The second is seeing the runout six or seven balls into the rack. I struggle with that. However im giving myself 1 more month, before i hit the pool halls and tournaments. I think i have sharpened my game up enough to casue some terror in Richmond ...or maybe a really strong BOO!:grin:
