Just Wondering, How To Earn Those Green Things For Reputation?

Ic, will it be through time? coz i've bought a couple things here already, things went really smooth. there are alot of good people here.

Time is not a factor although have some history here helps.
When someone feels you have done a good thing they will give you a pos point. In turn do a bad thing and they will give you a bad point.

As most have said before, reputation is earned on all forums by making solid contributions. If you have done some cue deals, give iTrader feedback to the person with whom you did the deal. They will usually reciprocate on a positive transaction.

The green rep points come from active contributions to the content of the forum itself and can be in any section. New members to the forum respect those who have been here a while and have made numerous contributions. I think it is a process that takes time, so contribute and enjoy.

As far as I'm concerned...

I have found that post that are:
1. Intelligent
2. To the point
3. succinct
4. Imparting legitimate knowledge
4. not urine stained...
will invariably help you achieve the illustrious "greenie".
Nothing is nicer than being formally recognized by the community.:)
 
Humor works well too.. a lot of us are just trying to make it through another long day at the office. I turn to this forum for laughs as much as anything else.

I think these are done because the reps have to be spread around and some members are rep collectors.

They are fun to give and get. As stated you thank someone for a good answer or something that was funny.

You give them by clicking on the balance symbol next to the post # at the right hand top of the post. Put in a few kind words and give them the rep. To check yours click on user CP top left hand corner.

Man I must do alot of good things!

I have to pissed everyone off 4 or 5 times at least!:D
No wonder I'm still happy! I have never done the thread post rating thing. Sounds tricky.
