Justin Bergman has challenged Danny Smith for the Fight Night One Pocket title!! We are working on a date and venue and will post details as soon as possible as Danny has accepted.

What happens if the "king of the hill" refuses a challenge? Do they lose their throne?

Seems if these guys are obligated to play to remain on "top" that someone like Frost or Alex would come in and snap them off for the cash.

If Scott Frost contacted you with 10,000 and wanted Danny in an even no handicap 8 ahead set (which I can only think Scott would have to like) what would happen? I cannot imagine Danny wants to give Scott big action even but can he duck him and remain "king"?

Both players and their sponsors must agree to play even. No handicapping.
 
Shouldn't the King have to take on all challengers? If he declines because someone plays to good, then he should be dethroned and the challenger becomes King. How are you the King if you don't take on all comers? Seems like apa, only 6's and under can challenge.
I love the fight nights by the way, not knocking it, but either run with the big dogs or get off the porch.

Is not like that because it isn't. There are different levels of players. The players and the money determines what is an even battle. Players and sponsors can choose to play higher level players but it will never happen the other way around unless it's an exhibition or one of the players is paid up front to play.
