Justis Case (the oldest?)

Jack Justis

CASEMAKER
Silver Member
Owner - Patrick O'Neil
Purchased -1989 at the US Open

This could be the oldest Justis case on record that is still being used daily. Every time I see Partick he tells me the case still has a lot of life left as the handle, lid and shoulder straps are still intact. Patrick played in the Master this year in Vegas. I think he was in the money. His Scruggs appears to be about the same age as the case. If anyone out there has one older Justis than Patrick's I would like to hear from you.

Hi Jack,

It is Rob Melrose. I still have mine I bought from you back in 89.
Hi Rob,
Yeah, I remember that one...3 x 6 natural and dark brown. Post a pic if you have one. Good hearing from you.
Jack

Hi Jack,

Mine is four years newer, but I bet you won't see many Justis cases this age in this shape (virgin 1993 model J&T case)...

Regards,

Steve

P.S. You can't tell who my favorite casemaker is, can you?

Yep, your right....that 3 x 6 has had an easy life.

Jack,

Your cases are truly works of art. Do you do anything other than leather cue cases? I was just wondering if your talents are divided among other types of cases/bags. Your cases rock.

Not really....I might if I ever get a break from the cue cases but it doesn't look like it any time in the near future. Thanks for the kind words thoght.

Jack,
Glad you had a great show in Vegas. Seeing all of these cases makes me look forward to next week. I am eagerly awaiting my new holster. I feel confident that I will put a few years on mine as well. Unfortunately, as little as I play anymore it might still keep that new look for a while. Anyway, keep up the great work.
