I think $300 would be a fair price for this cue?

Is the Petree straight? what size is the shaft?

Yes, it is dead straight 13 mm shaft which I had professionally cleaned and retipped with a medium lepro.

Hummm.....

I might be mistaken but I've seen some of his work before. I know for sure he had some old Verl Horn points...and they looked like that. Don't know if that is what the JB has but.......just a thought.

Does that mean that it would be worth more?

I dont know if this is an old V.H. blank but i was going to the auction on his shop when somebody advised me to talk to Mr. Prather , and i did and he explained that those cues and blanks where mostly built by i beleive his son and a freind of his sons and not V.H......... Not at all trying to screw up this sale as Petree makes some fine sticks and i beleive this to be a great deal for this cue..................

Thnks for the info. I presently have a buyer at $250. Does anyone wish to give me more. I am open to an offer of $300. Please use PM. thanks

Before anyone decides who made the forearms, why don't you check with JW. He is always completely up-front and honest about his cues.

He is easy to contact via email or phone:

Please don't bother Pete. I have already throughly discussed this cue with him. The points came from Verl's estate but, he stated they were probably made by Prather. Anyway if someone does not offer $300 by 10am Cal time or 1pm east coast time the cue is gone.:)
