K66 profile cushion recommendations

Hi, I'm replacing the cushions on an 8.5' Brunswick Madison table (from the early '80s I was told). Artemis is highly rated... but out of my budget. I have seen mixed reviews on Accu-fast, such as it play very well but it is softer and will play differently than traditional tables cushions (traditional table wasn't defined). So I am looking for any insight on the Accu-fast cushions and also recommendations for alternatives for K66-profile. Thanks in advance

You do know that the rails on your table were designed for the K55 profile cushions....don't you?...meaning they're NOT designed for the K66 profile cushions for replacement cushions.

K55 cushion recommendations

Thanks for pointing that out Realkingcobra. I did not know that the rails were designed for K55 profile cushion. I thought I read somewhere that the older Brunswick antique tables (early 1970s and prior) used K55 and newer ones where K66. My table, while it has the Madison name isn't the "Madison" one that pops up when googling Brunswick history. The guy I bought the table from said that he thought it was from 1984 (BTW, do you know anything about my pool table... history, year built, where it was made...?). Can I confirm that by measuring the thickness of the sub-rail on my table?

So now I'm going to reword my question and ask for the "good", "better" and "best" options for K55 profile cushions. Thank you!

The Brunswick K55 Superspeed cushions are a direct fit to your rails, why look for anything else.

Thanks. That makes sense to me. I appreciate your feedback to my question and the forum in general. It's been very useful.

I had the same dilemma with a GC3 I bought with bad rubber. I looked around and went with The Diamond black rubber, I have no idea how it compares to the Brunswick but I just went out on a limb. I love them, plays great. But I defer to the experts I am sure the Super Speeds are just as well.

Table

The stock Brunswick Madison has Brunswick super speed k55 profile cushions.

Madison- model "CY".
