Lost a hill-hill match that I should have won. A mis-cue was to blame. Where is the best source where I can urchase Kamui chalk? Thanks.

You will probably catch a little flack for spending $25 or whatever it is now and I don't know where you are located and where to get some, but someone on here will know.

I bought a cube at the US Open one Pocket Tournament in Las Vegas. I had a medium Kamui tip put on before the 2nd day of the tournament and miscued a few times during practicing before the tournament. IMO the Kamui medium is a hard tip and I sometimes get the yips and miscue.

My next match was a $$ match ($300) and I thought this justified the cost. I never miscued the rest of the tournament in four more matches.

You are making a wise choice.

I am presently sold out, but I have some coming at the beginning of October. Selling them for $28ea (minimum 2pcs) shipped. PM me if interested in ordering.

I got a few pieces from Corey recently. I dont think i will be using it all the time but it definitely is the best chalk i have ever used for preventing miscues. The stuff sticks like glue. It even sounds different when you chalk up, more of dull soft soft like trying to rub a bar of surf wax onto your tip.

I think the hardest part for me will be managing the cube so I dont lose it. im a real airhead when it comes to that kind of stuff. My friends always joke if they want an iphone or a nice pair of sunglasses, just follow me around and eventually ill leave them for u.

$25 chalk - yes!

Ok, i dont use it, but anythingthat creates a buzz in our sport is smart..., i remember when everybody laughed at $300 shafts? Not so funny now!!

If you dont want to lose the the $$$chald you should get one of those chalk holders with the yo-yo string that clips onto your belt, for $25 a peice its worth it!

seyberts.com has it, but like somebody else said you're not going to miscue any less than with a cube of Master, which is provided free in pool rooms the world over.

Go to Kamui's Facebook page and add them as a friend and you can buy it directly off their Facebook page, $30.00 a cube.

Nobody else said you're not going to miscue any less, in fact everyone who uses it said you wont miscue when using the chalk.

Buy the chalk and stop ASSuming.

EDIT: I noticed you said you bought a cube and didnt like it. Of anyone who has tried mine, Ive had every single person ask to buy my second piece and Ive declined to them all.

John,

All I can say is.......damn that new "technology"!!

Bernie ====> one of Johns' tournament victims:thumbup:

I have been thinking about getting a cube to try... actually, I have one on order.

I got a brand new Kamui Medium Black put on a few weeks ago and proceeded to go to a Southeast Tour event in Vero. The tip was fine all day, as expected, but I had an unfortunate situation happen in the finals that could have been catastrophic....

I was on the hill going to 9 against Earl and we had a little safety battle and I got first shot. I made the hard ball and got position for an easy run out to win the tourney. I chalked my tip, got down to shoot the 3 ball in and draw straight back about 5 feet when it happened.... I mis-cued and ended up scooping the cueball, landing it in the intended pocket. I ended up winning the tournament, but I was severely stressed for a few minutes after that mis-cue and don't want to repeat that scenario any time soon. :)

Kamui chalk, here I come.

Whatever that post actually means, I'm okay with it, except the ASS part, which was kinda sophomoric. For the record, I already bought the chalk - two cubes - and they're both for sale. Have a great day.

It means I'm man enough to notice I also ASSumed something based on what most of the other bashers normally do and figured you were doing the same.

You've tried it and didn't like it, that's a lot better than not trying it and telling everyone it sucks. You're in the minority for the people who have tried it though.

PM me about those cubes, I might have a buyer. ;)
