Kamuii Chalk!!!!!

I like chalking after every shot, it causes me to slow down. I tend to get into speed pool mode after I shoot for a while.

Wow the thread has really taken off!!! I bought the chalk out of curiosity I wanted to see if it works or dosent, well it does. I've been a faithful Masters Beige chalk user for the last 11 years I love the stuff don't have anything against it. I don't make a habit of miscueing but it does happen, when I forget to chalk up and really try to juice the cueball. It happens and I move on.

With the Kamui chalk I honestly have tried putting it to the test to really see how it holds up and so far it has beyond my expectations I have really almost tried to miscue on the times I've practiced and so far it honestly just hasn't happened.

Now I'm not really happy with the price tag, but if it last me honestly 1 -2 months with regular use I'll buy the stuff with no second thought about it. So far I have been pushing the envelope to see how far I can go without chalking up trying to see if I'm getting any performance difference the longer I go and so far the stuff is just doing what it mainly claims and that is that it plainly last longer.

So based on what I'm seeing I'll probally see myself chalking up once per rack unless something special is going on and I want to be sure and not any chances like on a power draw, or masse' or something who know's.

Paying attention to where you are hitting the cue ball may be providing less miscue as well. I don't discount the possibility that Kamui chalk is a better chalk for a minute but I know from practicing many other things, that paying attention improves most things.

That being said, I am going to put my new Kamui chalk to the test soon and see if I can develop the habit of using it on every shot.

The bottom line is even if the properties of Kamui chalk aren't helping you to reduce your miscues, the result is that you are miscueing less and that's a good thing.
