Anybody familar with downtown KC pool halls.

We will be in Kansas for the ICCS show October 9 thru 12.

You gotta be more specific as far as "downtown KC". KCMO is one of those towns where not a whole lot goes on downtown. Are you closer to Overland Pk, KS or north of the river or closer to Lees Summit?

I looked up the ICCS cue thing. Looks like you guys are at teh Intercontinental, which is Westwood/the Plaza. Unfortunately, there isn't any of the better pool rooms around you, it's kind of a no mans land, in the middle of it all.

A couple rooms I might recommend is Shooters in Olathe (about a 20 minute ride SW) or Side Pockets in Lee's Summit (about 20 minutes ride SE) or maybe Side Pockets(the other one), north of the river (about a 20 minute ride N).

Raytown Rec is pretty close (about 10 minutes). It's a small, old time players room. No frills, jsut pool.

This is Raytown Rec mister. Just Pool. They have a really cool 5X10 Brunswick pool table! It's huge at first. LOL.

I have a picture I'll post manana when I am by a computer.

Haven't been there in 4-5 yrs. Hope it never changes!!

Do any of you cue nuts know where I can get info about the ICCS show on the web? All I can find is references to last years show. Thanks.

Big Bertha is the name of the table! The owners name is Don Brink.

Earlier this summer Harriman and Joyner played some one pocket on it. They were actually mortal on the 5x10.

Shooters in Olathe would be the other place for action where Matlock hangs out.

There are several Side Pockets all around town. I'm not sure where Danny H. is playing right now. I would imagine Side Pockets in Blue Springs or Lees Summit when not in his basement.
