Kasson Aurora on uneven basement floor

I have a 9' kasson aurora that I'm trying to level on my basement floor. The problem is that it will be resting on a seam in the concrete that spans the length of the floor. The seam has a slight lip on both sides so when the triangular bases of the table are set on them, they rock. Would it be ok if I laid down some plastic wrap as a moisture barrier and used drywall shims to level?

Send photos of your situation... I'd like to see drywall shims.....I would not suggest gypsum to shim anything but sheetrock to stack/hang it on tall garage walls with a rip on top.

There's a few pics showing the lip and what I've done so far. There's a link to the shims i was using. They are not gypsum themselves. They are compressed and not suppose to be able to compress any more.

The shims are as I suspected, they are to stack drywall on starting at the floor instead of working top down. The shims are ideal for use on concrete. Should be ok to use.

Best of luck

If I remember correctly the bottom of the triangle pedestals for that table should have levelers in the 3 corners.

No kidding? I didn't really look at that. I just assumed I'd need to shim it. I'll have a look when i get a chance.

I was a Kasson dealer in the latter 90's. I'm pretty sure there were levelers on the pedestals but I'm
relying on fuzzy memory. If you don't have the levelers but there are T-nuts in the 3 corners of the
pedestal then you may only need look for levelers that will fit.
