Very nice run through the "one-loss" side with wins over K. Shaw, J. Barretta, T. Nelson, and S. Ellerby. Keep up the good work!
One question: did you (or do you think others) approached this tourney any differently because it was run as a "traditional" double-elimination event as opposed to the "Final 16 Redraw" system the WPBA now uses?
Congrats on a 9-12 finish in one of the "majors", with victories over several high-ranking players.

Ragbug...I don't think the format really made any difference. I, myself, was just happy to be there playing after missing the previous tournament. Some players might have felt that they were under less pressure with the traditional format. If you stay in the winners bracket you are guaranteed your two losses unless it is the finals....although you have to play more matches than in the usual WPBA format.
