I hope it's okay to post this here...if not, please move to the for sale section? I bought one of the Josey cues offered at a discount here to help Keith defray family funeral expenses.
I got a winner. The old style inlay work with sharp points leaves me breathless, it's so gorgeous. A beautiful sight in light of all the CNC machined cues out there these days.
Balance is supberb to my tastes. The standard Talisman tip never miscued on me in 3 hours of play. The shaft is so smooth I had to keep looking at it to be sure it was maple.
It's my first true custom, so I can't really compare it to others...other than to say that I love it.
Keith, if you read this...thank you. It's great to know that such true excellence in craftsmanship exists these days. As my wife was shooting, I couldn't keep my eyes off the veneer inlay.
One small problem...as the session wound down, my misses increased. Could the 6 cups of coffee I drank have anything to do with it?
Oh well, I've never heard of a driver being pulled over for too much coffee...
