Received my Josey cue today. Simple tulipwood into birdeye maple, 59", 12.5mm sniper tip and with the new "Josey ring". The balance is absolutely perfect, the hit is clean and crisp, powerful but not overwhelming. :) Keith's cues are awesome players. I have one less thing to complain when I miss. :D

I'm picking up a new cue from Keith at the SBE...I can't wait. Keith and Sherrie are great people. Keith's are some of the best playing cues you will ever find.

Josey builds an excellent cue

I have one of Keith's cues that I bought from the Cueaddicts at Valley Forge a couple years ago. It plays superbly and has some of the best exhibition grade tiger maple I've ever seen. Thanks Josey cues!

Shafts from Keith Josey are also top notch in quality! They are also quite low in deflection. :)

Keith and Sherrie are great. I love my Josey I bought from him a few years ago and will post some pics soon. He knows how to run a business too. I still get a Christmas card from him every year.

I bought one of the Josey cuesyears ago,It drew the ball so well that Jack Potter and Jerry Franlin could not believe their eyes, they called it the draw stick,I had not talked to potter for years until today and he asked about the amazing draw stick. For those of you unfamiliard with Jack he was the cuemaker of LIBRA cues which are highly sought after collectibles

Keith is a great guy and one HECK of a cuemaker.

I know a player that will not let ANYONE touch his Josey cue. He will also never let anybody work on it except Keith, himself.

Paranoid? Maybe a little, but I think it shows how much this cue means to him.

I own a keith josey "fancy" sneaky pete and i have to say, i think im in love. the cue just plays great! couldnt of asked for anything better

Thanks guy's

Well, after reading these comments, I guess I'll have to order one.

They sound great, especially the balance and hit.

Thanks,

How long was the waiting time?

The last time I talked to Keith and Sherri, the build time for a 'pete' was approximately 4 months. That may have changed, I suggest calling or emailing them for current build times.....they are extremely easy to talk to...super nice folks! :)

I can tell you that Keith does build is own finger-spliced full spliced blanks for his 'petes'. I hesitate to call them that, because the cues are just so much more. The craftsmanship, and attention to detail are on par with his higher end cues...as is his shaftwood. His finish is crazy durable.

He does not use weight bolts in his full splice cues, preferring to allow the wood to dictate the overall weight of the cue. Also, his cues are STIFF players, so please keep this in mind. I can tell you, that my game improved at least two balls shooting with one of his cues...and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I would be incredibly surprised if you were disappointed with one of his cues...I think that highly of them, and Keith and Sherri. :)
