Keith, Ronnie Allen, Harry Platis - One Pocket match

OK, one more...

I have some tapes of Keith, Ronnie Allen, and Harry Platis playing a partners one pocket game. Ronnie shoots every other shot one handed...

Keith, do you remember the details of this? WHERE and WHEN was it held and what was the bet?

Thanks

Oh please.....Why don't we tell the world why you are really mad at me...and why you think I am mad at my money....This is classic folks...

I am a giant pool junkie. It's been in my blood since I first started playing. I love pool and watching good matches. I used to own about 300 Accu-Stats tapes from the early 90's, but unfortunately I sold them all about 7 years ago because of a woman.

I am now getting back into building a great collection and you are mad because I outbid you on several pool video auctions on the internet. Then you have the nerve to email me when these auctions are going on and say I am a retard for over bidding you, and that I am "mad at my money". THEN you ask me to make you copies of the videos that I sucessfully bid for and won on a public AUCTION website. Every auction I won, here comes another email from you expressing your disdain for my higher bid.

It's very simple....it's an AUCTION....bid higher you cheapskate. Don't get livid at me for it.

Oh, and BTW, I have no intention of selling these videos on eBay. If ya really wanna know, I am an obsessive compulsive, and when I label my videos, I want them to be complete...thank you.

The auctions went on for several days. If it was just a couple of bucks on just a couple of auctions on one night I never would have said a thing. But after the first night on a dozen or so auctions , and you and I outbidding each other by 20 bucks a tape (adding up to hundreds of dollars) I figured I would say something and try and aviod the same situation over the next few days. It was clear that it was you and I outbidding each other as you and I were winners on almost all of them. I email you and you ignored me. You have the right not to respond, but then I have a right to take that as a gesture in itself. The same thing happens again and again. Tapes that ussualy sell for 16 dollars are selling now for 40 bucks. THAT IS STUPID. So, I send message after message, each one being ignored. Oh well, so you spend a few hundred bucks more then you had to (AS DID I) . I don't care what your reasons are or how you see it. I had a past dealing with you and don't like you. I will leave it at that.

I remember that match. Harry and I were playing in between Ronnie Allen, and Ronnie would have to shoot one shot two-handed and the other shot one-handed. We played 5 grand a set and put up for 2 sets. Me and Harry ended up winning the money, but it was funny dealing with Ronnie. Ronnie was getting staked, as was I, and it seemed like after every game, I was laughing my ass off at Ronnie. He never stopped yapping, in a good way. He is an entertainer, especially when he's got an audience. I have a copy of that match myself. Jay Helfert was the one who filmed it, and it took place in Arizona. I'll have to ask Harry if he remembers the year, but I think it was around the mid to late '80s.

My favorite part of the match:

Keith spikes in a nice bank and calls out " How do you like it, Jack Daddy?!!"

This is a fun match to watch for anyone who gets a chance to get a copy. Besides, Ronnie Allen is only on so many tapes so it's worth having just for the collector value as well as watching him and Keith move.
