I'm not sure when I'll be getting out that way. I've been hanging out here on the East Coast and playing in as many tournaments as I'm able to. There's usually a tournament going on every weekend, which is good for pool players and good for me.
Tell Neil that I said hi, and maybe we can hook up and get out to the dog track (ha-ha)!
Neil quit playing pool. But he still goes to the dog track. He tells a story of him beating you out of your cash. I recall the last time you came through Table Stakes, but I don't recall him betting you, in fact I lost a side bet...
I remember that game. I forget how we matched up, but it was a proposition game. Neil was playing one-handed, and I was spotting him and he broke me. I didn't know how good he played one-handed, but I sure do now.
This to remind you that you have old friends in Bellflower CA also and we miss watching you play. The Billiards, Hot Spot, and the Track. It was always exciting. This too, I have a cue that you would use, no balsa wood here!
Barbara, I miss a lot of the fun from Bellflower and some of the people, not all of them, as you know, but most of them. I saw Brook at the Open. She was with Dave Hemmah and Tang Ho. We were cutting up, and it was good to see of the gang from California.
