Hello Keith, I am in ongoing contact with Mike Johnson about him building me a cue. I know that he made you one recently and I was just wondering if you could give me the specs on your cue? I am leaning (99%) torward the hoppe style similar to this one http://www.jensencues.com/cues-17.html with another ring or two at the butt cap. I owned one that Scotty T. used to play with, but it got stolen, it was not a "hoppe style" but it played great. Do you have any pics of your cue? I would love to see some of them if it is not too much trouble.

I wrote in a thread recently about you, Jerry Bentos, Johnny A, and myself playing a bunch of golf at Olympia Spa in Dothan, Ala, and then went to a tournament at Starcade in Ft. Walton that you and Jerry give them the old 1-2 punch by taking first and second. That truly was a great week and I have a hell of collection of war stories just from that one week alone. Are you still playing?

I sure am glad to see that you are back on top and have every1 wanting a piece of the "Earthquake" (players and fans alike). I am looking forward to reading the book when it is published, it will be a big success and you guys deserve it! Continued success and have a BUD ;) weiser on me!

Sizl, I like my cues with a skinny butt, forward balance, ivory ferrule, weighing in at about 20-1/2 ounces. I like to have my cue a little bit heavier because of the simple fact that I move my hand a lot on the butt end of the cue, trying to feel the perfect balance, so I can master all my hits.

My Jensen cue was made by Mike Johnson, and it's a beauty. I was hoping to see Mike at the Derby, but I had to cancel my plans at the last minute. We have talked on the phone several times, and Mike knows what I'm looking for in a shaft.

It's hard to just pick up a brand-new cue stick and never miss a ball. It takes a little while to master your shots, and I'm sure you will like your Jensen cue just as much as I do. I appreciate Mike Johnson's craftsmanship. He does really nice work. He's been around long enough to know how to get it right. I think you will be pleased with a Jensen cue, and knowing Mike's attention for detail, he'll keep working with you until it's a perfect fit!
