Kid Delicious wants Corey

By the way as far as the movie if they make it realistic, if its a 2 hour movie,I guess the whole thing will be showing Kid playing some one a race to 9, at the end of the 2 hours the score will be 5-4 and we will all have to wait for part 2 to see the end of the set. LMAO
I like Danny but d@mn if that ain't the funniest thing I've heard all day! :D

Efren and Corey will match up even almost everytime I think in 9 ball. 9 ball is too much of a momentum game and shot makers game for Efren to have any real huge advantage over someone who plays Coreys speed. But as for Danny and Corey, Danny has to have alot of heart to offer that game and I think that for 20k, Corey's concentration will stay in the game despite the slow play of Danny.
if someone gamlbles with Efren long enough they will lose....no matter who it is....as for Corey and Kid D..........Corey will kill him also :)........only way to use match in that equation is the fact that they are playing one....as it will be less then competitive IMO

I don't know if I agree with the Efren thing. As great a player as Efren is (IMHO the greatest ever), he is not God, he can lose. I think I remember Grady said that Efren is a very good game maker and will quit often times if he finds himself in a game that he doesnt feel he should win. I think personally between Efren and Corey it could go either way and in reality the amount of time they play doesn't make a difference if they are playing 9 ball. Now in terms of one pocket, rotation or 8 ball, I think your statement may be true because Efren may be able to mentally keep it going longer than Corey. But in terms of a game like 9 ball, the time doesn't mean much, its a coin flip.

Wow, it really sounds like this match would get some side action.

Funny how much better people think Corey is than Danny at nine ball. Corey cheesed in a nine ball and some other shots and it still took Kid missing a hanger in a stupid ESPN-length match for Corey to win the UPA event in LA a couple years ago.

Kid has beaten Corey so bad Corey broke down his cue before the match was over. A friend of Kids thinks it has happened 2-3 times. Not because of slow play, but because Kid was murdering him 10-2 or something one match.

Corey has won some great titles, but not lately. He might be a more polished overall player, especially at 14.1, but Kid D can hold his own in 9-ball against just about anyone when he's playing good.

10 ball or 15 ball rotation increases Corey' odds, I'd guess. His position play in small spaces would probably get him the $$. The 5-1 bet he made for running all 15 balls in one hole is pretty impressive if he really ended up 2200 ahead at the DCC.

Danny's wins over Corey was in tournament play. It's a whole different ballgame when it's for the cash. ;) I don't think CD plays that much better than DB, it's just that I don't think DB has what it takes to spot CD. I could be wrong... it's happened before. :p

Yeah thats what I love about a tournament ... not that I ever could but, just like winning the lottery, I have a chance to beat Corey in a race to say 3. If I won the lag - snapped two and then broke and sank 7 balls with shape for the last two .... I win over Deuel - NOW ... put me against him playing all night I would be crushed, broke, in debt , beaten down and near death. ANYONE can win a race. Its all rolls.

Danny is a proven money player and his gambling game is as good as his tournment game. A friend went on the road with Danny and says he never saw anyone put together as many 6-8 packs as Danny. He won every time he matched up when my friend was with him.

Over the long haul, I don't think either one of these guys should be able to give weight to the other. A lot of times weight doesn't matter too much- they're going to run all the way out anyways, but in the long run I think they are within a ball of each other.

This would be a great match-up with a lot of potential $$ for the winner & sweators. Corey's soft break against Dannys' power break- they both are experts at reading the rack.

This doesn't sound correct. I know Corey didn't pass up a game from Danny getting weight. Just to let you know Corey will play danny even with a 2:00 min. shot clock in Ohio. Corey will give Danny the last 2 with a 1:00 min. shot clock. The 8 ball with a 30 second shot clock and the called 7 with a 15 second shot clock, the wild 7 with a 10 second shot clock. Let me know if Danny want's to do something, he has both mine and Corey's number.

This post makes the most sense to me and sums things up entirely.Although Danny is a great player, I believe he is no match for Corey Deuel. The only way he can beat Corey is to drive him nuts mentally with his stalling tactics, and literally bore and frustrate Corey to death. Some matches (mentally) are not worth playing and I don't blame(without a shot clock) Corey if he decides to dodge this one.

Danny stalling tactic is unsporting, maybe someone should do the same to him, has a smoke, go to the toilet, then break the rack, then talk on the phone for 15minutes, then shoot the 1, after that read a book before looking at the angle for 2.
