Kikel 6 Point Beauty

Marcus, nice cue....here's a bump. IMO, Kikels are on the "short list" for the best hit out there. Hit of course is subjective, but from all I've ever seen and played, they are well-constructed, consistent, and a nice value for the work.
 
here's another bump. i like the cue a lot, but i think kikel got a little too clever. he used the cross grain bacote for his points,,,which in general is ok, but the problem is(as in the pictured short point) if there's a large dark area near the point's tip, the point all but gets lost. he would've been better off using the grain, or finding pieces that would show the point tips, or using a veneer.

Bruin, I Also Would Have Liked To See A Veneer On This Cue, But It Looks Nice With Out It As Well. I Wonder What Color Veneer Would Have Looked The Best On This Combo
